The principle behind a spin-down prefilter is straightforward: it relies on centrifugal force to separate impurities like sand from water. When water flows into the filter housing, it is directed into a spinning chamber. As the first step in a whole-house filtration setup, the BriskSpring filter shields water purifiers and household appliances—such as taps, showers, hoses, heaters, and washing machines—giving you greater confidence in everyday water use.
No need to disassemble or hand-wash. Just twist the scraping knob to clear the mesh, then release debris through the drain valve. The double-sided scraping system prolongs mesh life and avoids premature aging caused by frequent dismantling.
Constructed with food-grade stainless steel mesh and lead-free brass. The BPA-free housing withstands freezing temperatures as low as −30°C. It has successfully passed 150,000+ cycles of 12 kg water-hammer resistance testing.
The package includes multiple connection types (1" MNPT, 3/4" FNPT, and 3/4" MNPT), making it adaptable to most pipe sizes. Installation is straightforward and does not reduce water pressure.
Designed only for municipal tap water between +1°C and +40°C. Do not use with wastewater or corrosive liquids.
